During my time in London 2007-2009 I worked on Disney's theatrical adaptation on the Lion King as technical stage crew.. They recently celebrated their 10 year anniversary of the show. Here are some images of the celebrations and the performance:

I recently worked with Inspired Minority pictures to produce two Karin K music videos. I worked on set as a line producer and art director... Here are some pics of the first music video, which stars Malcolm Ferrera (player 23 fame).

PUMZI??

Part of the Africa First program, Pumzi is a short film produced by Inspired Minority Pictures and written and directed by Wanuri Kahiu of Kenya. This short film has been commissioned by Focus Features and the Goethe Institute. The first film of its type- Science Fiction in Africa. Produced and visualised in typical Simon Hansen style, production value is second to none in creating a whole new world. The story follows Asha on her quest to escape the drone and dream suppressed Post "Water War" world in the search for life outside. I worked on Pumzi as production designer and make-up designer... below... some behind the scenes images..

BEAUTIFUL

Abrasive chafed lips

Large motherly hips

If your mouth speaks of love you are beautiful

Eyes worn from smiles

Cracked feet that's walked miles

If your vision seeks truth you are beautiful

You are not your age

You are not your skin

You are love and passion

And blessed from within

You are not your hair

You are not your smell

You are courage and reason

A story to tell

Rough bitten nails

Clothes like worn tattered sails

If your hands tell of life you are beautiful

Breasts that have dropped

Growing tall has since stopped

If you fed someone life you are beautiful

You are not what you pretend

You are not what they say

You are gentle and kind

And brave come what may

You are not your body

You are not what you see

You are felt like a blanket

Warmth only you can be

A heart that's been broke

A cracked voice that's been spoke

If you've caused someone love you are beautiful

Old bones that are bent

A life that's been spent 

If you've touched someone's life you are beautiful
